Remote Solar Station – RSS02

The QTech Remote Solar Station is a versatile, environmentally protected (UV), solar powered housing suitable for enclosing a variety of QTech wireless products. The enclosure is designed for use in urban and rural locations that lack access to mains power systems.

The RSS02 includes the solar controller, solar panel with mounting brackets, and battery.

The solar panel and battery capacity have been selected and optimised to provide (typically) 10 days of standby operation over radio networks on which QTech wireless products operate.

Approximately 30 hours of sunlight is required to fully recharge a depleted battery.
